Hiya JJ,
Welcome to planDisney! It is the Most Wonderful Time of the Year at the Most Magical Place on Earth; I’m so glad that you came to visit us today.
I checked the event page for
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and it says there are still two dates available for this festive occasion (at the time I'm writing). However, upon further examination, it shows that the tickets are
not currently available for purchase when you go to do so. I reached out to a Cast Member to dig even deeper. She said this is typically a good indicator that there are no tickets currently available for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Since it doesn’t officially say “Sold Out,” I recommend checking back on the event page until it either updates to reflect it being sold out or the tickets become available. Another option is to check at the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs, any of the ticket booths at one of the Theme Parks, or the Lobby Concierge at a Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel. It is not guaranteed, but there might be some magic in the air that conjures up some extra event tickets.
If you aren’t able to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, then there are still other excellent ways to commemorate the season. One of my favorites is
EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays. This incredible event features the magic of the holidays with the special inclusion of many cultures. It really is a beautiful way to spend your day. I highly recommend also checking out the
Candlelight Processional; depending on how long you will be at Walt Disney World Resort, you will be treated to either Draymond John or Josh Gad as the celebrity narrator of the story of Christmas. Either way, it will be a can’t miss experience.
I’m sorry I don’t have better news, JJ. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Holidays and Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
