I have tickets that may be expired, they were sent as a gift a couple years ago but never redeemed. Can I check their validity?

Hey there Emily! Thanks for visiting planDisney. I'm so excited to hear you are just are thinking about dusting off those tickets and planning a trip to Disneyland Resort.

According to eTicket Terms and Conditions, any wholly, unused ticket can be used towards the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater than value. This means you will hopefully be able to put these tickets towards the purchase of some tickets. Currently, all ticket upgrades must be done in person at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth. If you have any more specific questions about your expired tickets, I suggest reaching out to Ticket Services as they will be able to get more information from you and look up those tickets.

Since it sounds like it's been a while since you've visited, I want to make you aware that all tickets now require reservations. You will need your new tickets first and then you will be able to make your reservations once the tickets are linked to your Disneyland account. Currently, with spring break happening the next few weeks are booking up fast so be sure to get your reservations as soon as possible. You can see the reservation availability anytime on the Theme Park Ticket Reservation Availability Calendar page.

Be sure to check out Disney Parks Blog to catch up on all the new and exciting things happening at Disneyland Resort, as well as the upcoming excitements like nighttime spectaculars that are returning soon.

Emily, I hope this information is just what you needed and you are one step closer to walking down Main Street, U.S.A. See you real soon!
