Hey Howdy Hey Tanner and welcome to planDisney!
I bet you are getting super excited about your upcoming trip in a few short weeks! While there is so much going on in the parks to look forward to, the added extra of
Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom has many dying to get in! Thank you for your question about ticket exchange, I will be happy to give you more information on your options.
Tanner, I am sorry to say that with a regular day theme park ticket purchase, these are nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged for other products such as Special Event Tickets. If you did want to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween Party, this would be at an extra cost.
One thing to keep in mind about your regular theme park ticket is that in most cases, Disney will allow you to apply the purchase of your unused theme park ticket to a ticket purchase in the future. So if you know you will be back sometime next year and do not want to use your ticket on your upcoming trip, you can speak with a Cast Member about applying this ticket value to a new ticket. With this process, just know that pricing for tickets is date-based so they will change depending on the day, theme park and time of year. You will be responsible for any differences if there are any with your new purchase.
If you still do want to experience the Halloween season without attending the party, there still are plenty of ways you can. During your stay and after your day in Magic Kingdom, I would highly recommend a little resort hopping. Check out all of the resorts along the Walt Disney World Monorail and stop in at each for a special treat. Check out
Disney Eats: Foodie Guide to Halloween Treats at Walt Disney World Resorts 2024 for special Halloween-themed treats at each. Make sure to keep an eye on the clock so you can watch Disney's
Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks show in Magic Kingdom from the beaches at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This mix is a super fun way to still get in on all of the action from outside of Magic Kingdom!
I hope you have a not-so-spooky time on your upcoming trip. If you have any other questions, we here at planDisney have a scary amount of Disney knowledge we are dying to share with Guests, so let us know!
Boo To You,
Nick
