My tickets are linked to my wife's app, and on the first day they gave me a card and everything was fine. I bought a Magic Band Plus and gave it my card information. Now I want to link my Magic Band to my Disney app but I'm afraid. Can i do it?

    Hello there, Beto!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing us your fantastic question about your current Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I'm thrilled to hear you're currently on-site at The Most Magical Place on Earth enjoying an enchanting escape! It sounds like your trip is off to a great start and you've purchased a MagicBand+. Get ready to experience the theme parks in a brand new way, Beto! I'd be happy to help you link your MagicBand+ appropriately,

With your handy new band, the theme parks will come to life all around you and you'll have the exciting opportunity to become part of the nighttime spectaculars you view! It sounds like your wife can view your theme park admission in her My Disney Experience mobile app. Excellent news - that means that you're already listed as Family & Friends in My Disney Experience, Beto! If you already have your own My Disney Experience account, then your profile should not be solely managed by your wife. Therefore, either you or your wife should be able to link your new MagicBand+ to your account without issue! If your wife does not manage your account, that just means that once she links the new band to your account by selecting your profile from her Family & Friends List during the linking process, you'll manage it personally from your own account.

Beto, you have a couple of options when it comes to linking a MagicBand+ to your My Disney Experience account. You may complete the process on the Walt Disney World Resort website or within the My Disney Experience mobile app (my personal preference). To link a new band in the mobile app, first, be sure the band has completely charged overnight. Then, open the app, tap the "MagicBands and More" tile in the main menu, and scroll all the way to the bottom of this screen. Select "Link Your MagicBand or Card." Tap "Open Scanner to Link" and follow the onscreen prompts to complete the linking and pairing processes. Beto, if you experience difficulty at any point during the linking process, you're always welcome to reach out to the friendly Cast Members at the My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ phone line for assistance. Alternatively, you may stop at any Guest Experience Team umbrella in the theme parks for 1-on-1 in-person help!

I hope this information helps you to successfully link your new MagicBand+ and enjoy exhilarating experiences in the theme parks, Beto. If you have any additional questions throughout your stay, you're always welcome to revisit us at planDisney. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
