Welcome to planDisney, Amber!
Thank you for stopping by with a question about
theme park admission. You will be making memories at the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days, and we are happy to assist you with tips and advice to make your visit a memorable one!
Remember to check that tickets are properly linked to your
Disney account and visit
My Family & Friends on
My Disney Experience to be sure you are connected to the other Guests traveling with you. By now I believe your
Disney Park Pass reservations are ready to go! Don’t forget to keep the latest version of the
My Disney Experience app on your mobile device for convenient access to your plans and to help with physical distancing efforts by using features like
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering.
Let’s talk about retrieving physical tickets before heading to the parks to enjoy the magic! You can pick up ticket cards at will call windows located at the entrance of all four theme parks, and you are also welcome to stop by the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Please note that you will have to present a government-issued photo ID and the voucher you received by e-mail after making your purchase. I also suggest bringing the credit card used to buy the tickets just in case.
My favorite option though is buying
MagicBands for each person in the travel party. This all-in-one waterproof wristband can be used to enter the theme parks with valid admission linked to your Disney account, allowing you to go straight to the parks without stopping anywhere for physical tickets. They can be purchased online at
shopDisney.com and several retail and merchandise locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have a MagicBand, you do not need to stop by a will-call window or the Disney Ticket Center and go straight to the parks. Guests
staying at a Disney Resort hotel can order MagicBands at pre-arrival prices by visiting
My MagicBands and Cards. Please note that orders must be placed at least 11 days before arrival if you would like your MagicBands shipped to your home and at least 6 days before your arrival to have them shipped to your Resort hotel.
It was a pleasure answering your question, Heather! As you prepare for your visit, remember to
check the latest updates on the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, and hurry back to planDisney if you have last-minute questions.
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
