Welcome to planDisney, Delores. Thanks so much for your question.
There is truly so much to enjoy at
Walt Disney World Resort. With four theme parks, two water parks, and incredible shopping and dining at Disney Springs, choosing the right ticket setup helps make the most of every day. I am also a big fan of adding the Park Hopper Option, as it gives you the flexibility to follow the flow of your day and go wherever the moment takes you.
To answer your question, most Guests do not need to show identification at the park entrance once tickets are linked in the
My Disney Experience app. If your tickets are purchased in advance, linked to your MyDisney account, and assigned to each Guest in your Family & Friends list, you can simply scan in using
MagicMobile, a MagicBand or
MagicBand+, or a
Key to the World card.
There are a few exceptions where identification is required. Florida Resident tickets and Military Salute tickets typically require the eligible Guest(s) to present valid identification to verify and activate the ticket. Once that verification is complete, the ticket can be used as normal for park entry.
I hope this clears things up for you, Delores. If you have any other questions or would like help with
dining plans or Lightning Lane strategy, feel free to come back to planDisney and ask.
I am always happy to help.
See you real soon!
Brent
