I have 5 tickets linked to my account; when in Magic Kingdom how to use the Genie Plus that I'll purchase for the six of us- do they all need physical tickets or do I use my iPhone or my own Magic Band (they don't have Bands)

Hello, Robert welcome to planDisney. Thanks for swinging by with your questions regarding tickets and the extras that can be purchased to enhance your park day. Looks like you are set to arrive soon, so let's get to work.

The My Disney Experience App is the ultimate tool for your visit to Walt Disney World. If your account shows 5 additional tickets my recommendation would be to have those folks open an account to use the My Disney Experience App before and during their visit. Each member of your party can then be linked to your app if you visit the "My Profile" section and use the tabs to move over to "Family & Friends List." Once they are linked you can then go to the "Tickets" section of your app and "Assign Ticket" to each person in your party. You then want to check the Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar to see what parks are available during the days of your visit. Once you choose your park to visit like Disney's Hollywood Studios you will visit the Disney Park Pass System to make reservations for you and your party. If all of the folks in your party do not have smartphones you can just add their name and age. You can then get a "Key to the World" from guest relations if they don't have the device or a MagicBand.

The free-to-use Disney Genie Service is all managed through your app. Purchasing the Genie+ version happens each day when the clock strikes midnight on your park visit date. Pricing will vary for each day.  Make sure you have pre-selected your party so when the sales open up you can just go smoothly through the purchase and at 7 a.m. you can start to make your selections for your park visit. Once you start your park day you and your guests can either use their smartphone, Key to the World or even purchase a MagicBand+ on the day of your visit. I mentioned Hollywood Studios earlier and wanted to make sure if you do visit to make sure you visit Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge when you arrive on Batuu have your allegiance set in your mind before you arrive. Sometimes Stormtroopers walk the streets and if you make one wrong move or hesitate it could be detainment. Don't say I didn't warn you. Just some friendly advice from a regular Batuuan visitor.

I hope this information helps guide you to a great visit. If you have any other questions or other advice don't hesitate to ask me another question when you planDisney again. Have a magical visit!

    See ya real soon,

    Jeremy A.
