Hey there, Julie!
Thank you for being a planDisney friend and bringing us your question! I'm happy to hear your daughter will get the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World Resort and experience all the magic. I can imagine, though, that you're still very much looking forward to your own visit so you can take in all the magic for yourself.
Julie, I'm going to start with a guess that you have set up your daughter on your
My Disney Experience account with the "I want to manage all plans for this Guest" option.
I'm also going to take a guess here that what you're wanting to do is enable the family that's visiting Walt Disney World Resort to manage plans for your daughter, including making
theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system.
One way to accomplish this is through the
Family & Friends feature. I'll recommend at the start that you might want to work through these steps directly with guidance from the Internet Help Desk team by giving them a call at (407) 939-7765, or by using the
chat service available online. .
The general idea is that you and the member of the other family who will be doing the planning -- let's call her Helen Parr because she'll be planning some incredible fun -- can connect your separate My Disney Experience accounts. You would want to go to your
Family & Friends List and use the "Add a Guest" option to enter Helen's info and choose the "Invite this Guest to Connect" option to send Helen an email invitation to connect. Helen should receive and email with a subject like "You have a Family & Friends invitation to join in on Walt Disney World vacation planning." Once Helen accepts your email invitation and signs into My Disney Experience, she can go to her My Family & Friends List, use the "Add a Guest" feature, and add your daughter's name, which should have "Plans managed by Julie" displayed next to it. (If you're managing plans for others in your family, their names should also appear as options, but you're only wanting Helen to add your daughter). Helen should then be able to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for your daughter and manage other plans as well.
Julie, I'm hoping this info is helpful to you. Again, you might want to work through these steps with the Internet Help Desk team by calling (407) 939-7765, or get their guidance if you're wanting to take a different approach.
Here's hoping you enjoy some Disney magic in your day!
Jerry
