I'm glad you're considering Disney's
Genie+ Service. We purchased Genie+ on our most recent family trip and we found it to be incredibly useful for maximizing the fun. Booking Lightning Lane Entrances saved us on time spent in line and was a breeze to navigate on the
Disneyland mobile app. Plus, all our photos from the Disney
PhotoPass Service were included, which we found to be a really valuable benefit.
If your whole group wants to take advantage of the Genie+ service together, every admission ticket must come pre-loaded with the service or each Guest must purchase Genie+ after having their tickets scanned and entering the parks. You can add the service day of in the Disneyland mobile app. Linking the whole group on one app is the most convenient way to navigate the parks. Put one person in charge as the manager of your plans. They'll be the Guest who books your Lightning Lane Entrances. That's usually me in our family. However, I spoke with a helpful Cast Member, who says when you're booking Lightning Lane Entrances, they are limited to 10 in a group. With a group bigger than that, you'll need to assign more than one group manager and break down into a couple of groups.
