After the tickets are link. Does everyone in the group need to try and get the group pass for Rise of the Resistance? Or just one person in the group?

Bright Suns, Juan, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I sense the Force is strong with you and your upcoming visit to a galaxy far, far away! I’d love to help you and your crew nab a Boarding Group for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance!

When it comes to getting Boarding Groups for this epic new experience, I say the more, the merrier! Meaning, the more Guests you have trying for a Boarding Group, the better your chances will be. A few weeks back, I headed to Disneyland Park with my fellow Disneyland Resort Panelists, and we linked our tickets together on the Disneyland app in order to increase our chances of getting a Boarding Group. A Cast Member recommended turning off our Wi-Fi, too. We headed out towards Splash Mountain before park opening, in order to distance ourselves from the crowds a bit. As soon as the park officially opened, our group of five all attempted to nab a Boarding Group on our own respective phones, and one member of our group was able to get Boarding Group 29! Also, just one week prior, my friend and fellow Panelist, Tony S., attempted to get a Boarding Group with his family of six, all trying at the same time. One of his children got a Boarding Group for the family in no time!

My other recommendation is to make sure your list of linked tickets on the Disneyland app only lists the Guests you want to get a Boarding Group with – this will save you valuable time from having to select and de-select which Guests will join you on the attraction. This made the difference for me a few weeks ago when getting a Boarding Group with my sons – the Guest standing next to me got Boarding Group 48, while I got 61 since I had to de-select some Guests from my list before getting my Boarding Group.

Here’s another resource I’ve found online from the Disney Parks Blog, to help you get Resistance-ready! I hope this information helps, Juan! I can’t wait for you and your crew to become the newest recruits to join the Resistance!

May the Force be with you,
    Kristin

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
