Welcome to planDisney, Michele! Starting off 2025 at the Walt Disney World Resort is sure to bring some extra magic to your new year, and
Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour is a great way to help you uncover a closer look at how that magic is made behind the scenes!
Michele, with your early tour time, I would suggest arriving at the Ticket and Transportation Center (which houses the parking lot for
Magic Kingdom Park) between 7 AM and 7:30 AM. Generally, the parking lot will open to guests about an hour before
Early Theme Park Entry, which is 30 minutes before standard park hours. So if Magic Kingdom opens for 9 AM, the parking lot will be open by 7:30 AM. From the parking lot, you will need to take the
Disney Monorail or Disney Ferryboat to Magic Kingdom to tap in for your tour. The turnstiles for Magic Kingdom usually open around 45 minutes before Early Theme Park Entry, so you should be able to enter the park by about 7:45 AM to join your tour group!
While I have not done the Keys to the Kingdom Tour myself, my daughter and I arrived for Early Entry this summer around 7:30 AM and we were first in line at Magic Kingdom Park; we tapped in right at 7:45 AM. There was a family in line behind us who was joining an early Keys to the Kingdom Tour and they were told there was no separate entrance or earlier entrance; they were allowed admission at the same time as the other guests arriving for early entry. Because this is subject to change, I'd recommend checking with a Cast Member at the turnstiles when you arrive to see if there is a separate line for tour reservations.
Michele, I hope this helps! I know you're going to have a magical day learning all about how the magic of Disney is brought to life! If you have any other questions before your visit, be sure to come back and see us again at

Magic and Memories,
