Hi there, Cheryl. Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for checking in with this great question. I love a good nighttime parade. The best way to check what shows and entertainment are scheduled is to visit the
Hours & Events Calendar on the Disneyland website. Once you’re at
Disneyland.com, hover over “Tickets & Parks,” and then click “See All Hours & Entertainment Schedule.” You can adjust the date to June 18th and see what’s happening throughout the resort.
June 18th is scheduled for
Disneyland After Dark: Pride Nite. That means that unless you purchase a separate ticket to Pride Nite, Disneyland Park will close at 8:00 pm. Unfortunately, this also means that the regularly scheduled parade will not be showing that evening. Pride Nite tickets allow you exclusive access to special events, foods, and merch. The other great part of
Disneyland After Dark events is that many (not all) rides still operate, and the wait times tend to be much lower than usual.
Cheryl, I’m sure this isn’t the news you were hoping for, but rest assured that you can still cram plenty of magic into your day. Consider purchasing a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass so you can check off as many attractions from your must-do list as possible. Also, consider purchasing a
park hopper for the day, so you can hop to
Disney California Adventure to see
World of Color Happiness! Book the
World of Color Dessert Party to land premium seats and some treats!
I hope this news doesn’t dampen your trip. There are still so many opportunities to make magical memories at the Happiest Place on Earth. If you have any more questions, come right back to
planDisney. We’re here for you.
I hope you have a magical day!
Corey
