Hi there, Lori. A warm welcome to you from all of us at planDisney. Thanks for stopping by to ask us your question. Oh boy! You will be visiting the
Disneyland Resort during the merriest time of the year and I'm super excited for you.
Unlike the White Rabbit running late for a very important date, you are right on time and on top of things. In fact, I'd say that you're even ahead of the game. Theme park reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance of your visit date. Today, you are able to make a theme park reservation for December 5th and earlier. At the time that you submitted your question, it seems it was just a smidge early. I certainly don't blame you, I can't wait to make my reservations to visit during the holidays as well. Tomorrow, the last day of your visit should also open up for reservations. I recommend visiting the site tomorrow to make all of your theme park reservations and you'll be all set.
Now you can start a countdown and set reminders to make dining reservations for table service locations that you might want to enjoy during your visit.
Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. One of my favorite places to have a relaxing lunch is at
Carnation Cafe on Main Street, U.S.A. - the fried pickles are newsworthy (my mouth is watering just thinking about them). If you're having a late lunch or early dinner and are seated outside, you might even be lucky enough to see
"A Christmas Fantasy Parade" pass by while you are dining.
The holidays are such an extra magical time at the Disneyland Resort. I also recommend adding a Mickey gingerbread to your list of must-eat snacks. They're so soft and delicious and absolutely adorable - they're almost too cute to eat...almost. I love taking a few of these home with me as well - snacks make excellent souvenirs.
Lori, I hope this has been helpful as you're planning your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Please come back to see us with any other questions as you continue to plan your visit. Until then, I wish you happy planning!
Michelle
