We have tickets to the Hoop de do Review and the Spirit of Aloha. What are the odds we can get the cast of either show to sing our son happy Bday who will be turning one! Also if we are ordering a cake which is the better option to have it delivered to?

    Hi Clayton,

I can't guarantee that the casts of either of these spectacular Disney dinner shows will be able to sing Happy Birthday to your child, but be sure to take your server aside at the beginning of each meal and let him or her know that you are celebrating his birthday.  Also, be sure to ask for a "birthday button" at your home resort or at a Guest Services desk at one of the main Disney theme parks for your son.  He should then wear that button during the shows.  I'm sure the Cast Members at these restaurants will go out of their way to make his evening special.

As for ordering a birthday cake, I would not send it to a dinner show.  Once you see the strawberry shortcake served for dessert at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review, you won't have any interest in a birthday cake.  Instead, I'd have your cake sent to another table service meal where there is no show being performed.  Then your family and your server can focus more completely on your son's birthday celebration.  For instance, you could have a cake sent to Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  That's the perfect place for a fun, little boy's birthday celebration.  They'll be sure to make a big fuss over him there.

Have fun as you make your vacation plans.  Let us know if you need any additional advice.  We'd be happy to help.
