Hi! I have tickets for the Halloween party and I’d like them to be connected to my plans page with the rest of my vacation. How do I do that? Thanks!

Hey Howdy Hey Tina and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited that you have your tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. This party has so much going on, I love that you will be able to experience everything this party has to offer this fall season. Before I get too far ahead of myself, let's talk about connecting your tickets to your My Disney Experience account and then let's talk about this party!

Most times, when you purchase your tickets directly through the Walt Disney World website, you will see your tickets automatically appear in your My Disney Experience account as you do have to log in to your account to complete your order. In the case that you do not see them immediately, you will have to try and connect them yourself. After your transaction to purchase your tickets, you should have received a confirmation email with a confirmation number in it. Copy this number as you will need it for the next step. Go to the home screen of your My Disney Experience account and hover over the ticket icon. You should see an option to "Link Tickets" pop up and that is the one you will click on. Paste in the confirmation number from your email and you should be all set. In the rare case that this may not work and you get an error message, sit tight. You might have to completely log out of your account and then back in to try and reset your account. Make sure to try to do this first on your My Disney Experience account rather than on the app as sometimes the app is a little fickle with these things. If all else fails, you can call Disney and discuss this issue with a Cast Member to have it resolved.

Now hopefully you have your tickets linked, so let's talk about tips for the party. You can enter Magic Kingdom on the day of the party starting at 4:00 p.m. EST so get there early. Make sure to get your bracelet, map and trick-or-treat bag! Before the party starts, you are free to try to get all the attractions in that you would like so you can save as much time for some of the Halloween festivities.

First off is the parade. This is a unique one for the party and is something you will not want to miss. I would advise you to get your spot for the parade in Frontierland as it will pass through there first and you will be able to get a head start on other attractions while most people are waiting on Main Street U.S.A. for it to pass them.

Make sure to check your schedule as they might have 2 showings of the epic Halloween firework show. If you can, try and stay for the second showing as most people will be there for the first, especially those with small kids that might not make it to the park close.

Take advantage of as many of the trick-or-treat locations as you can to keep your energy levels up. You will need it!

Best of luck with your continued planning and I hope these tips were helpful. If you have any further questions please feel free to stop back and let us know, we would be happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Nick
