Hello there, Aaron!
Like Frozen’s Elsa, I need to conceal my feelings about this topic because I wish I were a Florida resident to take advantage of all of the incredible deals. My sister, the Anna to my Elsa, lives in Florida, and she gets to visit the theme parks weekly – can you imagine?!
Aaron, I hope this news doesn’t “bother [you] anyway” because only people currently residing in Florida can take advantage of the
Florida Resident discounts. All Guests planning on using a Florida Resident ticket will need to show
valid proof of residency to activate their ticket if they are over the age of 18. For any Guests who are under the age of 18, they will need to have a guardian present to show their proof of residency in order to activate their tickets.
If you are looking out for future deals for your vacation, I recommend checking out the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts website, or the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest offerings. For non-Florida residents looking to travel after September 2023, you’ll likely want to purchase a
Standard Theme Park Ticket. At the moment, there’s a great 4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket that is available during part of September 2023. Alternatively, if you visit the theme parks frequently, you may want to consider becoming an
Annual Passholder. After adding up my trips for the year, I figured out that it made more sense for me to become an Annual Passholder.
Once you purchase your theme park tickets, make sure to check your theme park reservation requirements to see if you need to make theme park reservations for each day that you plan on visiting a theme park.
May the magic be with you!Melanie
