Hello Kayla! Welcome to planDisney! Traveling to Mickey's Florida home with a large group is so much fun, but it does require some advanced planning. You've come to the right place!
Prior to purchasing your tickets, plan which parks you want to visit (there are four) and how often you want to visit those parks. After you've decided which parks you want to visit, make sure those parks are available by checking the
Disney Parks Pass Reservation System. This calendar will show you which parks are available (and which are not) during your planned vacation. Once you have that information you are ready to purchase your tickets! You can purchase your tickets by visiting the
theme parks ticket page of the Walt Disney World Resort website.
One thing that you currently won't have to plan are FastPass reservations. This service is temporarily suspended. For the safety of Guests and Cast Members, the Disney Parks have reduced capacity in their theme parks. This means less crowds and less wait time for attractions!
You are planning your visit at a great time! The Walt Disney World Resort is currently offering a special offer on vacation packages! The
Magic is Here vacation package is a great way to save money on your upcoming visit! It is available for most stays booked through December 25th!
My final recommendation is that you begin booking your
Disney Dining reservations after you've booked your package. You may book dining reservations up to 60-days prior to your arrival! That would look to be around October 20th if you plan on arriving on December 19th.
I hope this information provided you with a good starting place for your planning! Also, be sure to check out the
holiday magic being offered throughout the Disney Parks and Disney Resort Hotels! It's a beautiful time of the year to visit!
