Hello Eric!
Welcome to planDisney!
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of the best events of the year and I am always excited to participate as it gives me a reason to come up with a family costume. This year we dressed up as
The Dapper Dans but thankfully did not sing. (It was for everyone's benefit that we did not sing.)
Tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party let guests enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4 pm so that they can enjoy some regular Park time, get their party bracelets, and figure out their game plan for the evening. This is a great time to review the party map and event guide. The Party actually begins at 7 pm and ends at midnight. Unfortunately, the
Park Hopper option cannot be added to Party tickets. If you wish to visit another Park in the morning before 4 pm then you will have to purchase a
Standard Theme Park Ticket. I don't always suggest doing that as you will be paying for a ticket that you cannot utilize for the full day as you have to leave to use your party ticket to enter Magic Kingdom Park. Unless you only have this one day to enjoy everything then I don't recommend it. It also leads to such exhaustion when party time comes as you will have so much to explore late into the night. One of my best tips for this Party is to try and enjoy the second
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade of the night. It's far less crowded and I was able to have my kids stand with an unblocked view right at the curb on Main Street, U.S.A. to enjoy it. It was the best decision of the night!
I hope this helps and you have a spooky good time!
Happy Planning!
