Hi there, Nidia,
I know how you must feel. I’ve been in a similar situation when the limited number of
theme park reservations dwindled for the days I had hoped to visit the Disneyland Resort. I’d be happy to highlight some options based on the things I have learned.
First, you can keep checking the
theme park reservation availability calendar for openings that may come up. If other Guests need to change plans, their cancellations may create openings for you.
The next thing to consider is applying the value of your
theme park tickets toward new
Magic Key passes. By
upgrading a ticket to a Magic Key, you not only retain the value of unused days of your park ticket, but you can also extend the magic for months to come. Note that the expiration date for a Magic Key pass from an upgraded ticket that has been partially used will be one year from the first day the ticket was used. Upgrading to a Magic Key pass must be done by midnight on or before the last day the ticket is valid.
Another option is to book a stay at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels. Among the many
benefits available to Guests of the on-site hotels is access to
theme park reservations exclusively for hotel Guests. These park reservations can be booked from the "
My Hotel Reservations" page.
One last option that I can think of would apply only if the theme park tickets you have are wholly unused. In such a case, the amount paid for the original tickets can be applied toward the cost of new park tickets of equal or greater value, even if the original, wholly unused tickets have already expired. See item eight from the
Disney eTicket terms and conditions for details.
I hope that helps give some options that may work out for you, Nidia. I’m wishing on a star that a path forward becomes clear for you.
