    when do my tickets expire

Greetings, Puneet, and welcome to planDisney! The good news is that Disneyland Resort theme park tickets offer some flexibility. The answer to your question will depend on a few factors. Let's talk it over!

Generally, you can check your ticket's expiration date in the Disneyland mobile app. Any linked ticket will appear in the "My Tickets & Passes" section, which you can access by tapping the icon with the three lines (≡) at the bottom of the screen. Navigate to your ticket and check for the expiration date under the barcode. If your ticket isn't showing up, make sure you're logged into the same account you used to purchase it. If you have a physical or electronic ticket, you can also link it to your account.

If you purchased your ticket from the Disneyland website, you can also check your confirmation email. The expiration date is usually listed in the terms and conditions near the bottom of the email.

A standard multi-day ticket typically needs to be used within 13 days of its first use, and it's not valid after the expiration date. There are sometimes special offers that come with different terms of use. All this said, if you follow the process I described above, you should be able to find the details specific to your ticket in the app.

Now, if you discover your ticket has expired, Puneet, you may still have options, provided it hasn't been used. You can typically apply the cost of a wholly unused ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value. Just note this doesn't apply to special event tickets or partially used tickets.

If you're still having trouble, you can call the Tickets phone line to speak with a Cast Member. They should be able to see your ticket details and confirm your options.

Before we say goodbye today, I also want to mention that a valid theme park ticket is one of two things you'll need to enter a Disneyland Resort park. You'd also need a reservation for the day of your visit, which you can make on the Disneyland website or the app. Once you have those in place, you'll be ready for your day in the park.

Puneet, if you think of any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
