I have tickets to the Epcot after hours event on April 2, 2026. We are staying at Pop Century and I wanted to know if the skyliner stays open or do we have to find other transportation? Thanks, Amy

Hello, hey, and hi, Amy! Welcome back to planDisney. Your upcoming visit sounds like it's going to be a blast...from the past! A stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort immerses you in the decades of the recent past, and I love posing with the larger than life decor, especially the Mickey Mouse telephone. And speaking of blasts, your Disney After Hours at EPCOT event will have you blasting off to space on Mission: SPACE, Spaceship Earth, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind along with other select attractions. Let's engage the thrusters and get our spacesuits on, because your answer is coming in T-minus 3 seconds!

Houston, we have a problem. While the Skyliner does run at the end of regular hours at EPCOT and will overlap for some time during the after hours event, it will shut down before your event ends. But don't worry! You won't be lost in space. Once the event has concluded, make your way to the front of the park and complimentary bus service will be available to whisk you into orbit and back to your resort.

Now you can rest assured that there will be a mode of transportation available for you at the event! All there is left to do is plan out how many Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars you want to eat, which attractions you want to ride 2, 3, or 4 times, and if you'll arrive at 7PM to mix into the event or get there when the event starts at 9:30PM.

I hope your experience at the event is out of this world, Amy! Let us know if there are any other questions we can answer for you before your mission to EPCOT.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
