I have tickets for epcot and want to change to magic kingdom. How do I do that

Hiya John, and welcome to planDisney!

Can you believe that you will be at the Most Magical Place on Earth this weekend!? You are visiting at such a magical time, it is Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Celebration! Have the absolute best time!

If I understand your question correctly, it sounds like you need to switch your EPCOT Disney Park Pass reservation for a Magic Kingdom Park reservation. Currently, in order to visit Walt Disney World Resort, you will need both a ticket and a valid park reservation for entry to the theme parks.

To “swap” park reservations, you will need to cancel your current selection and then add a new one. Park reservations are limited, so before you cancel, I suggest checking the Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar to verify Magic Kingdom Park has availability on the day you plan to visit. If the date you want on the calendar is “green,” then all of the parks, including Magic Kingdom, are available that day. “Yellow” means that only certain parks have availability that day, and “grey” means no park availability. If Magic Kingdom isn’t currently available, I would recommend not canceling EPCOT yet; check back every day until your trip. Often availability will appear as other Guests change their plans.

    To cancel your EPCOT reservation:
    1. Log into your My Disney Experience account.
    2. Under “My Plans,” locate the Disney Park Pass you would like to cancel.
    3. Next to the Park Pass, select “View Details” and then cancel.

You can also do this using the My Disney Experience mobile app if you prefer. Click the “three horizontal lines” in the right-hand corner and select “Future Plans.” Select the pass you would like to cancel and then click the blue “cancel” button when it appears.

To make a new Magic Kingdom Park reservation, go to the Disney Park Pass calendar and select the date you want to visit Magic Kingdom. Once you confirm your selection, you will have changed your EPCOT Park Pass to Magic Kingdom.

I hope this is helpful and you can make the change for your trip.

Have the Most Magical Vacation and Happy Planning!
