We have tickets to the DisneyWorld Magic Kingdom park on November 18/24. As far as I understand this is a non party night with regular hours. I am wondering if we still will be able to see fireworks on this evening. Thank you, Natalie

Hi Natalie, and welcome to planDisney! I’m thrilled you’ve stopped by with a great question about your upcoming visit to Magic Kingdom Park. Fall is one of my favorite times of year to experience Walt Disney World. Not only are the parks decked out with beautiful autumn decorations (and sometimes Christmas decorations, depending on where you are visiting), but the cooler weather also makes for a more comfortable day of exploring. Plus, if you time it right, you might encounter smaller crowds, giving you a little extra breathing room while making magical memories with your family!

I’m happy to share that Happily Ever After is scheduled to light up the skies at 8:00 PM on November 18, 2024. You’ll want to keep an eye on the official Walt Disney World website or the My Disney Experience app closer to your trip, as showtimes can occasionally shift or be impacted by weather. If you happen to have a non-park day during your stay, you can still enjoy the fireworks from some fantastic locations just outside Magic Kingdom. The beach at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, the patio outside Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and the 4th-floor observation deck at Disney’s Contemporary Resort all offer stunning views. And here’s the best part: the music is piped in at each spot so you won’t miss out on the full experience!

Since you plan on visiting the Magic Kingdom, let me recommend some of my favorite snacking locations throughout the park. My first stop on every visit is at Gaston’s Tavern for a giant cinnamon roll or the Grey Stuff (it’s delicious). Another sweet treat can be found at the Golden Oak Outpost, where you can enjoy Tiana’s Famous Beignets! If you need something quick just before finding the perfect fireworks-watching spot, I highly recommend grabbing some freshly popped popcorn from one of the carts around Magic Kingdom. Better yet, purchase a refillable popcorn bucket to keep snacking on fresh popcorn throughout your visit for a discounted price!

I hope this helps you get even more excited about your visit, Natalie! If you have any more questions, feel free to let me know

    See you real soon!
