Hey there, hi there, ho there, Richard!
You’re as welcome as can be to planDisney. I’m so excited you will be heading over to
Disney California Adventure Park, You are going to love the wonderful new offerings there, including the amazing new
Avengers Campus.
Yes, as long as
theme park reservations are still available for the other park you wish to attend, you may cancel your current park reservation and book a new reservation as desired. I just checked the
theme park reservation availability calendar. It appears there are still reservations available for both theme parks on Friday.
Here’s how you would change your reservation. Start at the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page. You may also access that from the “Make a Park Reservation” button in the center ‘+’ menu of the
Disneyland mobile app and tap on the “View My Park Reservations” link. Once you are logged in, you should see your existing theme park reservations. Tap on the “Cancel Reservation” link for the date you wish to change. You may then select all or some of the tickets you wish to include in the reservation cancellation. Next, return to the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page to book new reservations. Click the "Book Theme Park Reservation" link, then choose the theme park tickets to include with the new reservation, and proceed with selecting the desired date and starting theme park for each new reservation.
Tony’s Tip: We visited the Disneyland Resort just last weekend. It was so much fun. It was also a bit hot. But don’t worry, there are great ways to get refreshments. Even if you switch from Disneyland Park, home of
The Tropical Hideaway and the
Tiki Juice Bar, you don’t have to give up on enjoying a
Dole Whip to cool down. You can still place a
mobile food and beverage order at
Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill at the
Disneyland Hotel. Another hidden gem for cool treats is
Bing Bong's Sweet Stuff located at
Pixar Pier. There, you will find sweet
Memory Refreshers. One of my favorites is the Imaginary Pal. But watch out for brain freeze!
Have a magical time, Richard!
