Hi there, Martha! Welcome to planDisney. Mickey and Minnie are always ready to add a little extra magic to your visit! The good news is that you don’t need a dining reservation just to meet and take pictures with Mickey and Minnie.
Character meet-and-greets are included with your admission, so be sure to check the
Disneyland app during your visit for the most up-to-date character locations and times. You can always find them at their homes in Toontown! My family loves to get there first thing in the morning when the lines are low.
If meeting Mickey and Minnie is high on your must-do list, a character dining experience is also a wonderful way to spend some time with your favorite Disney pals!
Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel is a great option, and your meal includes a special photo opportunity with Goofy himself before you dine. You’ll also have the chance to meet several other Characters, like Minnie and Pluto, throughout your meal, making it a fun way to capture lots of magical memories without having to wait in traditional meet-and-greet lines. Mickey can be found at
Storytellers Cafe at the Grand Californian, where you can enjoy a character dining experience and make magical memories with him and other Disney Characters, such as Minnie and Daisy.
