Hello, Sharat!
Thanks for your question. I’m hopeful we can help you arrive at a good solution to get you into the Disneyland Resort.
As you are aware, each Guest of the Disneyland Resort theme parks must have both valid theme park admission and a
theme park reservation. Because park reservations are limited, they may run out for any given date. Park reservations must be booked for each ticket before it can be used for park entrance. Even park tickets purchased in-person at the Disneyland Resort ticket booths cannot be used the same day of purchase unless there are reservations available to book. So I strongly recommend obtaining a park reservation before heading to the Disneyland Resort.
If you purchased your
theme park tickets directly from Disney within the last 120 days, there is a good chance you already have theme park reservations. That is because when you visit the Disneyland Resort website or use the
Disneyland mobile app to purchase tickets, the process includes steps to select the date of your park reservation and the starting park. You can check whether you currently have reservations by visiting the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page. If you don’t see park reservations listed on that page, click on the “Book Theme Park Reservation” link to find an available date to visit.
If you still need to book park reservations but the dates you need aren’t available, it is worth continually checking the
theme park reservation availability calendar. Other Guests often need to cancel their reservations for various reasons. When they do so, those reservations can become available to you! I’ve noticed that dates that have shown no availability for several days usually show some availability the day or two before the date. If you see a date you are hoping to book suddenly show reservations available, it is best to act fast to make your reservation.
Tony’s Tip: Have you booked a stay at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels? If so, you may book from
theme park reservations exclusively for on-site hotel Guests. This pool of reservations often has reservations available even when the regular reservation calendar has run out of reservations for popular dates. To access this perk of on-site hotel Guests, follow the “Retrieve Hotel Reservation” link from the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page to book reservations from your hotel stay summary page.
I’m wishing on a star that the dates you need open up for you to book reservations, Sharat. With a little bit of faith, trust, and maybe a pinch of pixie dust, perhaps your Disneyland Resort dreams will come true.
Have a magical day!
~Tony
