Hey there, hi there, J! Welcome back to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with another great planning question!
Eeeek! In just days, you'll be arriving at Disney's Hollywood Studios, ready to begin your magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. How exciting! With the Walt Disney World
50th Anniversary Celebration wrapping up in just one month, you couldn't be visiting at a better time. The party may be coming to an end, but the fun and magic are still in full swing! Now, let's chat about getting your hubby registered for
Disability Access Service (DAS) to make the most of your magical day!
If you are within 30 to 2 days of your park visit, your husband can pre-register for DAS Advance using live video chat with a Cast Member. To do so, log in to your My Disney Experience account and head to the
DAS registration page. Before you can request a live chat with a Cast Member, you must first click the blue "Terms and Conditions" button and accept the Terms and Conditions. Once that is done, scroll down and click the blue "Request Live Video Chat" button and click the "Start" button in the chat window to get the ball rolling. Live chat is available daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. EST, but I recommend requesting your magical chat first thing in the morning.
If I have your arrival date correct, it looks as if it may be too late to pre-register for DAS Advance. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" It's never a bad thing to have your Walt Disney World Resort visit only one day away, and you can still register your husband for a DAS Pass! Just stop by the
Guest Relations Lobby near the main entrance of Hollywood Studios to see if your husband qualifies and get everything set up. When you register in person, the Cast Member will set up your first Lightning Lane selection for you, so let the magic begin!
I hope this helps, J, and I hope you and your husband have the most magical and memorable day at Hollywood Studios! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have.
You've got a friend in me,
Mandy
