Hi, I have tickets to the dessert party before Happily Ever After on Sunday, November 4th. Can you tell me if Once Upon a Time will take place that night? If it is after Happily Ever After, will we be able to stay to watch from the Garden Plaza?

    Hi Ashley,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

One of my favourite Disney dining “splurges” is, without a doubt, the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing. Happily Ever After has quickly become my favourite nighttime spectacular at Walt Disney World Resort and the view from the Plaza Garden area is absolutely perfect.

From what I can see from Magic Kingdom Park’s Hours on the day that you’ll be visiting, it doesn’t seem as though showings of Once Upon a Time have been scheduled yet. If that show does take place, you’ll absolutely be able to stay in the Plaza Gardens in order to watch it but don’t be surprised if other Guests join you there as the area will no longer be reserved exclusively for people who enjoyed the dessert reception.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
