Christmas on Main Street

    If I have tickets for the Christmas party (but NOT for Magic Kingdom during the day) would I be allowed to make a reservation at Be Our Guest at 4:30pm (i.e. after partygoers are allowed in the park, but before the party officially starts)?

    Welcome again to planDisney! Special events such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are one of the best times to visit the Parks. I love that you can enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4 PM and enjoy the regular attractions while the Park slowly empties and the real fun begins at 7 PM with the party. 

    I think it's a very strategic move to have a nice dinner reservation set up before the Party begins. This way you can eat and then focus on the fun of the party with no stomachs growling. Since you have a special party ticket that allows you to enter the Park at 4 PM you are allowed to have a dining reservation at 4:30 PM. Just make sure that it is not before 4 PM as you will not be allowed in without a valid Theme Park Reservation and standard ticket. I confirmed this with Bijou, a Disney Cast Member and they gave the following excellent advice. Since Be Our Guest Restaurant is on the other side of the Park maybe consider booking a reservation a little later to give yourself time to make it there in time. My other suggestion is to walk quickly and with purpose. Don't be distracted from your mission to enjoy a meal with Beast in his beautiful castle and finish in time to see Cinderella Castle in her wintery splendor.
