How much is tickets for children age 5

Hi Breanna. Thank you for taking the time to stop by with your question for us at planDisney. I’m glad to hear you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort!

The price for a theme park ticket (whether for a child ages 3-9 or for those 10 and up) varies depending on your vacation plans. The thing is, Walt Disney World Resort uses a pricing system for its theme park admission based on dates. Prices fluctuate depending on the month and even different days of the week. In general, prices tend to be slightly higher on weekends and around holidays. Moreover, the number of days you wish to spend at the theme parks will affect pricing. The more days you choose, the price per day will be lower. To add even more choices, you can choose Park Hopper as well as Water and Sports options too. Lots of possibilities for you to plan a vacation unique to your family’s preferences!

But before purchasing your tickets, Breanna, please be sure to look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to check that the theme park(s) you wish to visit has availability. Once you’ve determined the days you wish to visit are available, you can check out the ticket prices at “Tickets and Visit Guide”. I took a peek at the month of May as an example to see ticket prices for a child. In May 2021, a one-day one-park child ticket price ranges from $104 to $131 (plus tax); a one-day Park Hopper option child ticket price ranges from $169 to $196 (plus tax). The default prices you see will be for Guest age 10 years and older.

Once you’ve purchased your tickets, please be sure to make a park reservation via the Disney Park Pass system. Due to the pandemic’s impact on park operations, all Guests need both a valid park admission and a park reservation for each day. This helps ensure management of park attendance and physical distancing for all Guests and Cast Members’ health and safety.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Breanna. Please visit us at planDisney again for more tips and advice. We are all EARS to help you plan your “practically perfect” trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Have a wonderful day,
    Kiki
