Hi - I have tickets booked and paid for for Sept 25 and 26. Do I need to book the park reservations separately? In Florida I bought tickets but they said I didn't book the park reservation and wasn't allowed to enter.

Hi there, Carla. Thanks for taking the time to visit us on planDisney! We’re so glad you’re here.

I’m delighted to see that you’ll be visiting the Happiest Place on Earth at the end of this month. Right now, Halloween Time is in full effect at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. You’ll get to experience seasonal attraction overlays, taste some spooky eats and treats, as well as see some of your favorite Disney characters dressed in their Halloween outfits!

Many Guests are still getting the hang of this newer theme park reservation system at the Disneyland Resort theme parks. It involves a two-step process: 1) purchasing your tickets by picking the date(s) you wish to visit, and 2) making theme park reservations for the date(s) and theme park you wish to visit. When your transaction has been processed, you will receive an email with confirmation details and unique QR codes for each theme park reservation.

Another way to check to see if your theme park reservation is confirmed is by looking on your Disneyland mobile app. On the home page, you’ll be able to see your Park Reservation once those have been confirmed. It’ll provide details of the date and park you’re visiting. If you have a Park Hopper ticket, the park listed will be your starting park; then at 1 PM, you can hop to the other park.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Carla. As you continue planning your upcoming trip, please don’t hesitate to write us again. We’re all EARS!

    Wishing you a SPOOK-tacular time!

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
