Hi, i have tickets booked for the Not so Scary Halloween party, however they have been booked for the 18th and i only arrived the 22nd Oct. I understand these aren’t refundable but is there an option to swap dates?

Hiya Emma! Welcome to planDisney! It's great to have you stop by!

Let the countdown begin! Less than a month away until you arrive at the Most Magical Place on Earth to begin your unforgettable holiday! There are countless experiences to look forward to, including the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!

Emma, I'm sorry to hear that you purchased special event tickets to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for the wrong date. Unfortunately, once party tickets are purchased, they are nonrefundable, nontransferable, and you are unable to change the date of the ticket. With tickets being in such high demand and the Halloween Party being a limited ticketed event, these rules need to be in place to ensure that the proper number of Guests are attending each party. Clearly, you made an honest mistake, so your best bet is to call the Walt Disney World Resort and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. If there is anything they can do to help, they will gladly make these changes.

Your next option will be to stop by Guest Relations outside of the Magic Kingdom upon your arrival. Since this is the park where the party is held, these Cast Members will be your best bet when it comes to making any changes. I recently returned from attending the party myself and ran into a similar situation. My friend who was attending with me purchased tickets to the following week's party instead of the date we were planning on going. They decided to try their luck at Guest Relations and were able to find some Disney magic that night. Every situation will be different so make sure to go in with proper expectations.

Emma, regardless of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, the Magic Kingdom is still beautifully decorated for the holiday season throughout the day. Mickey-shaped pumpkins and fall foliage line Main Street, U.S.A., which make for great backdrops for your family photos. There are also some special Halloween treats you can find throughout the park that will be available all day!

Have a magical visit, Emma! See ya real soon!
