Hi Barbara,
Thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your question. I am happy to help you think about theme park tickets for your upcoming
Walt Disney World vacation!
I suggest that you start by taking a look at the
Walt Disney World theme park ticket webpage. Here, you can explore the types of tickets that are available. Essentially, you can purchase theme park tickets for the number of days, between one and ten, that you will be visiting Walt Disney World theme parks. You can start with a Standard Ticket that allows you to visit one park per day. Once you select the Standard Ticket and the date that you plan to start your visit, you will be asked if you want to change your ticket type.
You can select Water Park and Sports Option, Park Hopper Option, or Park Hopper Plus Option. While the Standard Ticket includes admission to the Walt Disney World theme parks, the
Water Park and Sports Option adds a certain number of visits (based on the length of your ticket) to the
Disney Water Parks, ESPN Wide World of Sports, Disney Oak Trail Golf Course, Foot Golf at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course, and the Walt Disney World miniature golf courses. The
Park Hopper Option will allow you to visit more than one theme park in a day. Park Hopping is currently available after 2:00 p.m. and is subject to availability. The Park Hopper Plus Option essentially combines the two opportunities above, allowing both a certain number of visits to Walt Disney World water park and sports options, as well as Park Hopping.
I also suggest that you check out the
Walt Disney World Special Offers page. This page often has special offers for theme park tickets. For example, right now there is an offer for a
4-Day, 4-Park Magic Ticket. This ticket offers a great price for four days of theme park magic! Check that one out to see if it matches your plans for your vacation. There are also special deals on
theme park tickets for U.S. Military Members, so do take a look at those if that applies to you.
Barbara, I know that this is a lot of information. I suggest that you start by exploring the webpages above. If you would like to speak to a cast member regarding your tickets, you can find a
phone number to call Walt Disney World online. And finally, of course, please feel free to come back to planDisney to ask if you have any further questions!
