Boo to you, Catherine! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this frightfully fun question.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort events. It is popular among many guests, so it's great that you're already thinking about securing tickets to this spook-tacular celebration. Tickets for this year's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have not gone on sale yet. In years past, tickets were typically released sometime in the spring, however, tickets for last year's party went on sale in January. Your best bet is to keep checking the
Walt Disney World website for ticket availability, and if you follow the
Disney Parks Blog, you will be among the first to hEAR when tickets go on sale.
Although dates for this year's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have not yet been confirmed, I can tell you that the event took place on select nights through November 1 last year. In my experience, the first and last parties of the season typically tend to draw large crowds, and of course, October 31 is a very popular night to attend this eerie event. I would recommend attending the party as early in your stay as possible, and you might also see lighter crowds on a weeknight.
There are so many ways to have a ghoulishly good time during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party that it will be difficult to do it all. I would recommend reading about the event's activities and entertainment offerings on the Disney Parks Blog before attending the party to decide on your must-dos. Did you know that on the day of the event, you may enter
Magic Kingdom Park any time after 4:00 p.m. with your party ticket? This gives you some time to explore the park before the party-exclusive offerings begin later in the evening. When I attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade is always at the top of my must-do list. There are typically two performances of the parade, and the later showing tends to be less crowded. If you don't mind staying up a little later, it just might help you to secure a parade viewing spot that is so good it's scary!
