Happy Holidays, Brenda!
Thanks for JINGLING ALL THE WAY over to planDisney with your question about Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.
I was SO thrilled to hEAR that the
Epcot International Festival of the Holidays – Candlelight Processional would be returning for 2021. It's one of our holiday family traditions to attend the event each year when we visit. In fact, I just finished planning a December trip after hearing the announcement!
Featured as part of the
Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, the Candlelight Processional shares the biblical story of Christmas through word and song. Celebrity narrators tell the story of Christ's birth, joined by a mass choir and a 50-piece orchestra to provide the music. The magnificent production was missed so much last Christmas season, and Guests are happy it's making a glorious return! Candlelight Processional returns November 26 through December 30 and will host performances each evening at the America Gardens Theatre in World Showcase in Epcot.
In previous years, seating for Candlelight Processional was offered on a Standby basis, with guaranteed seating reserved for Guests with Candlelight Processional Dining Packages. Since certain celebrity narrators bring large crowds and longer waits for Standby seating, we've always taken advantage of the dining packages that come with guaranteed seats.
At this time, information has not yet been released about celebrity narrators and dining packages, but I expect it will be coming soon. I encourage you to stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog and to keep an eye on the
Candlelight Processional page on the Walt Disney World Resort website for the latest updates and information.
Thanks for using planDisney as a planning resource for your upcoming trip. We're happy to help!
