Are my tickets automatically linked to my magic band?

Hello Robert, and welcome to planDisney!

Planning a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort is so exciting. If you have purchased tickets, you already have a countdown until you join the World’s Most Magical Celebration! So many special experiences have been created just for the celebration. New nighttime spectaculars, attractions, treats, and merchandise await your arrival.

I am happy to tell you that if your tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account, they will automagically be linked to your MagicBand. Any reservations or plans you have linked to your My Disney Experience account can be accessed by your MagicBand. If you purchase a Memory Maker, PhotoPass Photographers will scan your MagicBand to add them to your account. If you decide to purchase the Disney Genie+ service, you will be able to redeem your experiences at the Lightning Lane Entrance with a touch of your MagicBand.

If you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can unlock the door to your room and charge purchases of food and merchandise to your room account. The MagicBand is much more than just a piece of wearable technology, it’s also stylish and allows you to express yourself by choosing a MagicBand that suits your personality. Meet the Panelist: Andrea, Ohio

Hi there, I am Andrea from the Buckeye State. A very proud mom to my princess who is a former Miss Ohio. Friends and family describe me as a "Disney Nerd" and Star Wars fangirl. I have made 30 trips and counting to the Walt Disney World Resort in all stages of life since 1972 as a small child, a young mom with a toddler and now as an empty nester. The love of vacation planning runs strong in my family. My uncle had it, I have it and with my help, you will have it too. Learn More About Andrea
