Hello Trevor! Someone is ready to get on as many rides as possible! With four theme parks to visit, you are definitely going to have an amazing experience! Now, lower your lap bar and let’s get to your answer!
To enter any of the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, Guests must have both a valid theme park ticket as well as a Disney Park Pass reservation for the park they wish to visit. Park tickets are purchased on the Walt Disney World Resort website. After you purchase your park tickets, you can make your theme park reservations for the dates you want to visit the parks. Reservations are also made on the website.
Once you’ve entered the park, you are invited to experience as many attractions as you can from park open to park close using the standby queue. However, there may be a few attractions with limitations. For example,
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is currently not available through a standby line. Guests must use a
virtual queue, available on their My Disney Experience app, to experience this attraction. Using the virtual queue is limited to one experience per day. The other option for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is to purchase an individual
Lightning Lane admittance for the attraction. This is separate from your park ticket. Additionally, when some attractions are new or just opening, they are limited to the virtual queue and won't have a standby line available. This will be the case for TRON Lightcycle/Run when it opens on April 4, 2023. Attraction availability is always subject to change, so be sure to check the Walt Disney World Resort website or check with a Cast Member at the Disney Parks for any changes or updates.
Trevor, Guests can also use
Disney Genie+ to experience attractions. Disney Genie+ is a ticket “add-on” that you can purchase. This add-on will allow you to select a timeframe to return to an attraction and have a shorter wait than the regular standby line. However, Disney Genie+ is not required, you can always choose to use the standby line to experience an attraction.
I hope this answer helps with your planning! Please come back to planDisney with any other questions!
Happy planning!
