Happy Haunts, Vickie, and welcome to planDisney!
I’m so happy to hear that you and your family will be enjoying
Magic Kingdom and
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party all on the same day. It’s going to be so fun seeing the park transition as darkness falls. You’ll have a busy day, so a sit-down lunch is the perfect way to break that up.
Since you will already be inside Magic Kingdom with your standard theme park ticket and hold a ticket for the party, you won’t have to exit and reenter. Instead, you can usually find different locations in the theme park where you can “check in” for the party without leaving the theme park. All you’ll need to do is visit one of these stations to get your wristband for the party.
Because you will already be in the park, I highly recommend heading to one of these stations before early afternoon. It doesn’t hurt to check before your 3:00 P.M. meal, too. That way, you can get your wristband before everyone begins entering the theme park at 4:00 P.M. In the past, I've found that as soon as the clock strikes 4:00 P.M., these stations are filled with others in your same shoes. So it doesn’t hurt to try before that time, so that after your meal, you can get back to the fun!
Don’t forget to save room for all the
savory seasonal offerings you can find during the party! And bring an extra bag for all the treats you’ll end up collecting. My family usually brings the treats we collect during the party to the theme parks with us for the rest of the trip. My daughter calls them her “snacks”. So we all end up “snacking” on these treats in between meals. Unfortunately, because of this, not many of our treats make it back home, but in the moment, they are worth it!
Have a haunting time, Vickie, and don’t forget to enjoy
Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween parade.
Have a Spooktacular time,
Shantel
