I have tickets already for DL. I wanted to know is there any way to book a good neighbor hotel without purchasing tickets. I’m not seeing an option?

    Welcome BACK, Amber!

It's so good to see your name pop up again. Thank you for continuing to ask terrific Disneyland Resort planning questions to us hEAR at planDisney!

When searching for Good Neighbor Hotels through Disneyland's website, the results are going to be featured as packages which, like you said, all include Theme Park admission tickets. This does create a bit of a dilemma for guests who already have their park tickets or possibly even Magic Key annual passes. I visit Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure Park using the fantastic Military Promotional Tickets myself, so I'm right there with you.

What I do is still look at the list of Good Neighbor offers available, but only so I can learn which hotels are considered to be Disney-approved and get a quick rundown of their different amenities: who offers suites, how far away from the parks they are, which ones have complimentary transportation available, etc. Then, when I've found a few hotels that I like, I'll investigate them further on their actual websites that I find through Google. And once I've narrowed down where I'd like to stay, I'll book my room(s) on the hotel's own website. This way I'm sure to avoid any packages that include tickets, and I might even earn points on that stay if I'm a member of that hotel's loyalty program. Another option is you can go directly to the website of a big global chain (Marriott, Hilton, etc) and type in Anaheim or even Disneyland as the city where you're looking for a room and make your reservation from their list of selections.

I hope this helped to clEAR things up a bit, Amber, and we can't wait to see what you'll ask us next! We'll See You Real Soon!
