Hello Amy,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Although there are many Rainforest Cafe locations throughout the United States, it's a wildly fun themed restaurant that fits right into the Disney experience. Kids, especially love hearing the sound of thunder that signals the rainforest coming to life, and the giant fish tanks are beautiful. Be sure to save room to share the Sparkling Volcano for dessert. (It's really just a huge brownie sundae, but it gets extra points for presentation.)
There are actually two Rainforest Cafe locations in Walt Disney World,
one in Disney Springs and one right outside of Disney's Animal Kingdom. The entrance to the park is located outside of the restaurant, so you won't need a park ticket to enjoy a meal at the
Animal Kingdom location, and it can sometimes be easier to get reservations there than it is at Disney Springs. The menu is identical at both locations, but the one at Animal Kingdom does serve breakfast in addition to lunch and dinner. You will need to pay for parking at
Disney's Animal Kingdom, while parking at
Disney Springs is complimentary. If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can just use Disney transportation.
Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
Diane
