How much is a ticket for a 3 and 4 year old?

Hi there, Amy, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I’d love to help you start planning your vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth! You’ll want to begin on the Theme Park Ticket page of the Disneyland Resort website. Next, you’ll select the number of days that you plan on visiting the parks. Keep in mind that you’ll receive one Magic Morning early admission with a 3-day, 4-day, or 5-day Ticket! If you’re visiting for one day, you’ll need to specify which date, since 1-day Ticket prices vary by date. Next, select the number of Tickets you’ll need to purchase. This is where you’ll see the pricing breakdown for different ages. There are three categories of pricing based on age: Children under the age of 3 (admission is free for this category), ages 3-9, and ages 10+. Since your children are both within the ages 3-9 category, you’ll want to add two ticket to that box before moving on, in addition to the number of adult tickets needed. Next, you’ll need to decide if you’d like a 1 Park Per Day Ticket, or a Park Hopper, which allows you to go back-and-forth between the two theme parks.

So, here’s a pricing example for a family of four visiting the parks with 2-Day Park Hopper Tickets: Currently, the cost would be $1,090 ($280/ticket per adult, and $265/ticket for ages 3-9). This price will fluctuate based on the number of days you select, the age categories, and the type of Ticket you choose (1 Park Per Day or Park Hopper). Prices are subject to change without notice.

I recommend purchasing Park Hopper Tickets if it works within your budget. Since Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are just a short walk across The Esplanade from each other, you can easily move between the parks based on your schedule for the day. I also recommend adding Disney MaxPass to your Tickets if you can. It’s an additional $15/ticket, per day, and it allows you to make digital Disney FASTPASS selections directly from your phone, which is a huge time-saver, especially when you’re park hopping. It also includes unlimited digital downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos, which is a great way to preserve your precious vacation memories!

Please stop by with any additional questions you may have… I’m all EARs!
