Hi Monina, welcome to planDisney! I'm happy to help you with this question.
Disneyland Resort theme park tickets have an expiration date, after which they are no longer valid for park admission. However, wholly unused theme park tickets (excluding special event tickets) can be applied toward the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value. I've confirmed with a Cast Member that you can do this by visiting an onsite ticket booth or calling the
Tickets phone line. Remember that a separate
theme park reservation for the new date will be required for park entry.
If you had a multi-day theme park ticket that was partially used, there isn't much flexibility regarding what can be done with any unused days. If this is the case, you may want to contact Guest Relations to discuss possible solutions. I've always found the folks at Guest Relations to be very helpful.
Many exciting things are coming to the Disneyland Resort this year. I'm really looking forward to the
70th Anniversary Celebration that begins on May 16, 2025. There will be special entertainment, colorful decorations, food and drinks, collectible merchandise, and more. This includes the much-anticipated return of the Paint the Night parade and an all-new World of Color experience.
