Hiya Mark!
Thank you so much for sending us your question, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! Oh my goodness Mark, you are only a few days away from your magical vacation. Can you hear the magic calling? I know I would be so excited, and I am honoured to be helping you during your planning process.
Now, let's talk about your theme park tickets! Tickets can definitely get confusing, but that is what we're here for. Although there are different types of tickets with different requirements that apply, some of the main things to consider are your ticket's date of expiry and if they have been linked to your
My Disney Experience account. First, make sure to log into your My Disney Experience account and click on "My Plans," or "Tickets and Passes" in your My Disney Experience mobile app. There, you will be able to enter the ID number of your tickets and
link them to your account. Second, once your tickets are linked, you will be able to see their date of expiry in the "Tickets and Passes" section.
If your tickets have expired before you used them, depending on the type of ticket you had, you should be able to use the value of the ticket as a credit to purchase new tickets of equal or higher value! To do so, you can either
call a Cast Member or go to a ticketing window at the main entrance of any of the four parks and
inside Disney Springs. Do note that if your tickets were purchased before 2004 and do not have an expiration date, these tickets are still valid and will be honoured!
To make sure that you can use these tickets, remember to
make your theme park reservations for each day of your vacation as they are now required in addition to valid admission. Indeed, you can make a reservation for the park that you would like to visit on each day of your vacation. Make sure to take a look at the
theme park reservation availabilities first so that you do not have any surprises, but I can see that as of today, February 21st, reservations are still available for all four parks during your visit. Lastly, take a look at all the different ways to use your tickets and pick one, or more, to try. You can either get a physical ticket upon arrival at the main entrance of any of the four theme parks, download the ticket into your digital wallet through the
Disney MagicMobile service, or
buy a MagicBand!
I hope this was helpful, Mark, and that you can get back to planning your magical vacation real soon. If you have any other questions come up in the time leading up to your visit, don't hesitate to reach out! We are always happy to help, and you're as welcome as can be.
Have a magical day and I am sending you all the pixie dust for your upcoming vacation,
Ariane
