    Does a ticket to a special event count as park admission?

    There’s no better place to spend the most wonderful time of year than at the Most Magical Place on Earth! The Holiday Season brings tasty treats, themed entertainment, and more. It’s a very merry celebration indeed!

    Special events such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park require a special ticket that is separate from general admission. Guests with general admission tickets can enter the Parks at the park opening and remain until closing (typically earlier than normal hours). However, Guests with a special-event ticket can only enter the park at the start of party hours (subject to change). Some special events (such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party) allow Guests to enter the park earlier than party hours, so I encourage you to review which special event you plan on attending this holiday season to see if you can enter the parks earlier!
