Nancy from FL Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When ticket sales open for the rest of 2020, how will the priority for sales be given when sales are finally open for purchase? For example: Resort Guests who need Park Tickets have priority over someone who has no reservations at all.

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nancy! I'm so glad that you came to us with your question about the phased re-opening process of Walt Disney World Resort, and how to purchase tickets if you don't yet already have them in your hands. With just a few days left to go until guests are welcomed back to the Theme Parks, I'm happy to walk you through what kind of tickets are available right now and what you can do if you have a trip planned in the next few months.

Nancy, at the moment, we do not know if or when Theme Park ticket sales will resume for the remainder of 2020 or what kind of guest priority will be put in place in the event that it does become possible to purchase tickets again. Vacation packages, tickets, and Disney Park Pass reservations are now available for dates in 2021 up until September 26 if you have plans for a trip next year, but we don't have any news to share about 2020 tickets at this time. If tickets for the rest of the year do become available, the news will most likely break on the Disney Parks Blog, so be sure to bookmark it and check back often to be among the first to know all the information about anything new that's going on at Walt Disney World Resort!

I hope this answers your question, Nancy, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
