Hi there, Katherene! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for bringing us this great question! I bet you can’t wait for your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth – are you counting sleeps until you arrive?
Good news – in and out privileges are not only allowed, they are encouraged! Your
reservation is good for the entire day. It’s nice to take a break and move between the two parks if you have a
Park Hopper ticket. If you have a
One Park Per Day ticket, you can leave and come back to that park as many times as you’d like that day. You can stroll around the
Downtown Disney District, explore the shops and restaurants, and take in the Disney vibe!
You can also visit the
Disneyland Resort Hotels if you're taking a break from the parks during the day – you do not need to be a Guest to enjoy the lobby, shops, and dining.
Disneyland Hotel has a beautiful collection of black and white photographs telling the story of Walt's dream for the Happiest Place on Earth.
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has a gorgeous lobby and ambiance - one of my favorite restaurants there is
GCH Craftsman Bar. They have a large outdoor seating area next to the pool, where you can order delicious meals and snacks while you sip on a refreshing cocktail or mocktail. I love the Double-baked Nachos and Prickly Pear Rose!
The magic is waiting for you!
