Welcome to planDisney, Debra. Thanks for reaching out to us with your question; we are always happy to help!
I’m delighted to see you’ll be heading to the
Happiest Place on Earth in a few days. Debra, you certainly can switch your park reservation to spend time with your family. In order to change the park you will visit, you’ll actually need to cancel your current theme park reservations and then make a new one. I just took a peek at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and it looks like Disney California Adventure Park is currently available for booking on the day you indicated (this may change rapidly as Guests book their park reservations). When you’re ready to re-book, I suggest making the new theme park reservation as soon as possible so spots don’t run out.
You can cancel and make a new park reservation conveniently on your
Disneyland mobile app by logging into your Disney account. Here’s a brief walk-through to cancel a park reservation on the Disneyland mobile app:
1)
On the home page of the app, you’ll see “Park Reservations”.
2)
Click on “Manage or Make Reservations>”
3)
Under “My Theme Park Reservations”, click on “Cancel Reservation”.
4)
Go ahead and follow the prompts to make the necessary cancellation for the person who cannot make it on your trip.
Once you’re done with this step, you can then make theme park reservations for the other park on the same date. You’ll then receive a confirmation email with a new QR code.
I hope this information is helpful for you. Please don’t hesitate to visit us again on
planDisney. We’re all EARS!
See ya real soon,
