    Allison from FL Asked

Can a ticket purchased for Disneyland be used at Walt Disney World if it is not used?

    Hi there Allison,

Thank you for reaching out to us here at planDisney with your question about Theme Park Tickets.  My family and I consider Walt Disney World Resort our "Home" but we do love visiting Disneyland Resort as often as we can.  We love how different the two parks are yet there is still a sense of familiarity when we arrive.

Unfortunately Theme Park Tickets are not transferrable between Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, but I do have some good news to go along with that.  Theme Park Tickets that are unused retain their value and can be used toward the purchase of a new Theme Park Ticket when you are ready to visit the other coast!  I guess that means that you still have a visit to Disneyland Resort in your future, hopefully sooner rather than later!

I wish I had better news to share, Allison.  If you have any other questions about either Theme Park, please come back and visit us again here at planDisney.  We are always happy to help with your vacation planning questions.
