Hello friend,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! I'm happy to help you start planning a magical Walt Disney World vacation with your family.
As you have noticed, the majority of people who visit Walt Disney World fall under adult pricing, even if they are big kids at heart. Guests ages 3 to 9 qualify for a slightly discounted admission, while little Disney fans younger than 3 are always admitted free.
Because ticket prices vary based on date, package and number of days purchased, it's difficult to quote a specific price or discount for you. If you are buying tickets only, you should be able to find the exact prices for each age category as you build your
ticket order online. Once you select the number of days, the dates and the type of ticket (whether you want one park per day, a parkhopper or to add other special options), you will be asked to fill in the number of adults and the number of children ages 3 to 9 in your party. That's where you can see how much each ticket will be.
I recommend taking a look at all the
special offers as well. Often, there are discounts for Walt Disney World resort and ticket packages, sometimes with added benefits. In 2026, for example,
guests ages 3 to 9 get a free dining plan with the purchase of a travel package that includes a stay at a Walt Disney World resort and dining plans for other guests in the party who are 10 and older.
You can
book travel packages online as well.
Or, as always, you are welcome to
call the Ticket and Reservation help line and speak to a cast member if you have difficulty navigating the online purchase or if you feel more comfortable having a person assist you during the process.
Please let us know if we can answer any more questions for you as you choose the best tickets, resorts, dining and activities for your family.
Happy planning,
Wilma
