Welcome to planDisney, Jeniffer! Nighttime in Magic Kingdom Park is probably my favorite place to be at Walt Disney World Resort! The temperature has come down from its daytime high and there is a very settling ambiance that comes over the park. The later it gets, the less crowded the park becomes. I always stay as late as Guests are allowed to remain in Magic Kingdom Park. On very late nights, the park is rarely crowded. You can really take in the whole park and admire aspects that you can’t when the park is crowded.
At present there is not a “half-day” or nighttime-only ticket for any of the Disney Parks. If you would like to visit Magic Kingdom Park, you will need a park admission ticket. The park admission ticket will allow you to enter the park at any time during normal operating hours. One of the things I like most about tickets for the Disney parks is that you can enter the park, leave the park, and then re-enter the same park later the same day.
One option that you might really enjoy is
Disney After Hours. These are special events that require a unique ticket specifically for Disney After Hours. Disney After Hours begins when the park closes for regular admission ticketholders. A limited number of tickets are sold for Disney After Hours events which means lower crowds and shorter waits for attractions. Another nice perk of Disney After Hours is the complimentary snacks such as ice cream novelties and popcorn, and select beverages, that Guests can enjoy throughout the evening at the park. These come as a part of your admission ticket. And, perhaps, the best perk of Disney After Hours events is that Guests with tickets can get a head start by entering the park a couple of hours before the event begins!
Jeniffer, presently the only Disney After Hours event still available is
Disney After Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on select nights in August with prices either at $145 or $155 (plus tax). While nothing has been shared yet, there could be some news coming in the fall about 2025 Disney After Hours dates including Magic Kingdom Park! Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Walt Disney World Resort website!
Dreams do come true!
